To Ukrainian veterans
Dear veterans,
Ukraine traditionally celebrates the Veterans Day at the beginning of October. This day, we commemorate the heroes of World War Two, soldiers, who lost their lives in Afghanistan, and congratulate all courageous defenders of the Motherland.
The Veterans Day in our society is acquiring somewhat new meaning. Earlier we got used to the fact that veterans were mainly elderly people, however, today we see young men and women to become veterans after the war in Donbas.
Nowadays veterans are dignified successors of the great Ukrainian soldiers.
I wish all of you, dear friends, sound health, welfare, family happiness, and, of course, peace in Ukraine.
